An Urgent Duty
Once a complaint is received under Ley Karin, the employer has the obligation to provide early psychological care through their administrative body's (OAL) programs.
Key points of the Intervention Program:
•Immediate referral: The employer must refer the affected worker as soon as the violence event occurs.
•Activation: A DIAT or DIEP form must be generated as appropriate to formalize the process.
•Preventive tool: It seeks to mitigate the impact on the victim's mental health before it worsens.
